I have used Startlogic for a long time and have just setup my third site thanks to this site. I have rarely used their support which has been pretty good when I have had too. Could be a bit more responsive but for the few times I've needed help that's ok.

After sitting on hold for over an hour, you get to be transferred to very rude, impatient tech-gumbies. You can't reach via email, and their chat takes about an hour, as well. This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I transferred everything over to Lunarpages and have never been happier.

Chat support feature is horrible. They sometimes seem like they don't know what I am talking about. Avoid the chat support and just call them on the phone. Its much easier and they are helpful. Fortunately, I've contacted support for questions not problems, so I am satisfied overall. The servers seem quick and with out downtime.

Price is great especially with rebate here. The interface takes a bit getting used to, but I am used Cpanel. Support is frustrating using online support but I hate chat support. Phone support is pretty good.

I have hosted my site with Startlogic for almost two years. I have literally never seen any downtime with it. I have a simple website but it uses Mysql database and response is very quick.

The only good thing about this service is the price, hence "You get what you pay for" Customer service sucks. I got hung up on three times today. Twice by a billing rep and another time by a sales rep. I'm sure you won't post this but I am sure a bunch of other sites will. I will be cancelling the 2 websites I have because of your inefficient billing system that can't seem to process an Amx card correctly.

Startlogic has put together the Prologic package, a very competive Linux box server package that can handle most of what a webmaster needs.
They have wrapped significant memory and bandwidth together with a list of good tools that allow webmaster to do what they want with their sites.
If your site needs more than what the base Prologic package offers, then you shouldn't be using a shared server anyway. A decent selection of site
plugins such as shopping carts, blogger, forums, and some useful search engine optimization and marketing tools and credits. Recent test of Startlogic
support have been favorable, with online chat support being operable on all attempts and at varying times but was slow and cumbersome. Past phone support
was weak but seems to be improved at the last callup.
Startlogic has added the RatePoint Customer Feedback System to each hosting plan. Ratepoint allows your visitors/customers to provide feedback to an independent service which helps improve customer confidence. Ratepoint is filled with useful tools that help you create surverys and send out email lists.
