9 months on, Hostmonster has proved reliable, I like their control panel, and the chance to park many domains means it is a really economical way of running several websites within one package. The $50 rebate offer from ConsumerWebHostReview sounded too good to be true, but it came through promptly, like clockwork. Definitely worth signing up through this route. Thanks guys.

I have been using Hostmonster for a few months now. So far so good. What can I say, my old host was a nightmare so anything is better but so far I am impressed.

There was some difficulty with the initial setup but that may have been due to my lack of knowledge. After a few days I got things working.

Hostmonster offer 24/7 sales and technical support seven days a week. The technical support is a must, but all hours sales support is nice when you want handle a billing change at 3AM. Hostmonster offers an online chat support but you must have an account to access it.

A recent call to sales support in the morning took 4 minutes to get through the queue. Hostmonster offers nice features including Ruby on Rails, a feature that I am seeing more and more people looking to use in their website applications.

Hostmonster gives you a lifetime free domain and free domain privacy protection which keeps your personal information out of the public WHOIS database. WHOIS privacy would normally cost you $8.99 extra through Godaddy.com with yearly registrations costing about the same.
