I only used Godaddy for domains, thinking they were only for domains. Before my hostgator account renewed, I saw they do hosting. I gave them a try as I like to keep the amount of charges I have and this puts my site all under one 'roof'. So Godaddy seems decent so far, for the price, my site is up and running without problems so far.

Godaddy is known for its domains, but is trying to expand it's presence on the web with web hosting plans. I've reviewed Godaddy's
offerings, the Economy, Deluxe, and Unlimited. I won't even cover the Economy plan.. yes, it's cheap but that's about it. If you are serious about your
site, definitely consider the Deluxe or Unlimited as they offer the ability to host an unlimited number of websites, all under one account and all for one price.
Godaddy's plans have the bases covered in what they offer in their plans, so the only unknown is the support. My tests show that their phone support is the fastest way to go, with my test calls being connected to a live person within 4 minutes. Technically they seem fairly knowledgable and it seems they should be able to answer most questions on the spot. Whether Godaddy can handle the large influx of inexperienced users their TV ads can bring is yet to be seen.
