I needed a dedicated server but did not want to pay dedicated server hosting fees. Gate's virtual private servers allow me admin access but at a price that I can afford. It's not as good as a actual dedi cated but it's great for what I pay.

Gate was one of the more expensive hosts that I found, but was one of the hosts that had the better reviews. I realize that most every company will have bad customer experiences so you need to average them all out, because as they say, a unhappy customer will tell a lot more people than a happy customer. Gate's domain aren't free either but I can handle the buck.

Gate gave me a free t-shirt with my hosting, so for a poor college student trying to become a rich webmaster, the free clothing is great along with the rebate. :)

Nice support, nice features. Seems to be stable as haven't seen any downtime or had any reported. The domain isn't free as most large hosts but it was only a buck
