I never heard of Bluehost until my friend referred me. I'm glad they did, I was at realwebhost which had great service but way too much downtime. Bluehost has showed me good service and great uptime.

Bluehost on the surface is one of the more boring looking sites with a plain user interface. Don't let that fool you. A flashy home page doesn't provide your hosting. Very few problems to date, and reasonable support. Server outages for about 2 hours in one instance was the most, while irritating, I'm hoping that was it.

When you have been through hosting hell like I have over the years, words and reviews cannot tell how wonderful it feels to have a site up and running without the daily or weekly issue arising. Phew, that was a long sentence but that is how exasperating it has been until now. Thanks Bluehost. 6 stars. ;)

Bluehost seems good so far, but I am more happy about the price. The support has been pretty quick but then again, I don't have much experience with other hosts, other than the real cheap or free hosts, which are horrible. The rebate really helped with getting a site going on a small budget.

This host is awesome! You actually get support! Don't you hate it when you call for support and you know more than the person you are talking to. This won't happen at bluehost. I have finally found a home for my site, and Im not moving anytime soon!

Bluehost has recently increased their disk storage to 200 gigabytes and bandwidth to 2,000 gigabytes a month. If you are exceeding those limits, then you are probably already on a dedicated server. In business since 1996, Bluehost offers everyday, anytime sales and support that is augmented by an online chat feature. Ruby on Rails has been added to their features that includes scripts to setup forums, Wordpress, chat, mailing list and more. PHP programmers will be happy to see that either PHP4 or PHP5 is available for you to choose. Not all hosts have made PHP5 available so that is noteworthy.
As a little bonus, Bluehost offers Yahoo and Google advertising credits which you can use to add pay per click advertisments on those search engines. It's not a lot but it helps with marketing exposure for a new site.
